DC Releases New Superman#1 TV Commercial

Brian Michael Bendis made big news when he announced he was leaving Marvel and jumping over to DC. New stores lines and characters await. Now he’s ready to take on the last son of Krypton himself… Superman. In the past week, fans have a spectacular looking new trailer for Superman #1.

Beginning with his take on Superman in the Man of Steel miniseries, which recently concluded Bendis will now be taking over the two flagship Superman books, Superman and Action Comics. The ongoing extended run should prove an exciting arc if the trailer is any indication.

DC’s statement read: “We are beyond thrilled to welcome Brian Michael Bendis exclusively to the DC family with a multiyear, multi-faceted deal”. “He’s one of the premier writers in the industry, having created so many unforgettable stories wherever he’s been, and we can’t wait to see what he has planned for the DC Universe.”

Written by Brian Michael Bendis and drawn by Joe Prado and Ivan Reis. Superman #1 is being called “A bold new chapter for the greatest superhero of all time.”
